What: This is a 4 day camp to get more middle school and incoming high school students interested in theater. Campers will learn not only about performing but also the technical and backstage work that goes into putting on a show. Who: Camp is open to all Missoula area students entering 7th*– 9th grade in the summer of 2018 . When: August 5th – August 8th 2019. Camp will start at 9:30am and end at 12:30pm all 4 days, with a show at 6pm on the last day. There will be rehearsal time prior to the show which will be announced during camp. Where: All activities will take place at the Big Sky High School drama department. Cost: $35 per student, no one will be turned away due to ability to pay. All proceeds go towards the running of camp and Thespian productions during the school year. Showcase: On the last day, Thursday the 8th of August at 6pm there will be a show including skits, dances and songs created and performed by the campers for friends and family. There is no cost of admission for the show but donations are welcome. |

My child has no medical or emotional problems which may affect his ability to safely participate in this camp. The camp staff is authorized to attend any health problems or injury my child may incur while attending camp. I will allow the involved hospital and/or doctor to administer the required treatment of an emergency condition. I also understand that all incurred costs are my personal responsibility and that Big Sky High School does not have insurance coverage for injuries to camp participants. I release and indemnify Big Sky High School and camp representatives from claims arising out of my child’s participation in the Camp. Unless requested, I further grant Big Sky High School the right to use my child’s picture and/or likeness in printed, broadcast, and other material concerning the Camp, provided such use is related to the child’s participation in the Camp.
